The following items are requested standards of personal conduct by which POATRI asks each guest or visitor to Terlingua Ranch to abide:
Please respect the fact that all property on Terlingua Ranch is privately owned and that the roads that pass through a person’s property are also private, except for ingress and egress. Please do not leave the roads via vehicle or on foot, as you would, then, be trespassing.
All persons living on or visiting Terlingua Ranch are subject to Texas state game laws. TPWD, Brewster County Sheriffs Department, etc will, of course, enforce these game laws. It is each individual’s responsibility to be informed of these state game laws. No loaded weapons, of any sort, will be allowed in the resort area.
Collecting cactus, rocks or any other items within the resort area, from alongside the road or on another’s property not only may constitute trespassing but may, themselves, be separately punishable acts.
While staying at or visiting Terlingua Ranch Resort please be considerate of other guests and personnel by always keeping excessive noise under control, especially after 10:00 PM.
All pets brought to the resort must be reported to the office at check-in and must be kept leashed at all times.
The resort swimming pool has posted rules and guidelines, which must be recognized and followed.
Vehicle traffic in the resort area is limited to 15 mph.
In case of emergency, contact the Terlingua Ranch office, during office hours, or the Brewster County Sheriff's office at 432-837-5541 or dial 911. A pay telephone is located on the front porch of the office.
The board members of POATRI and the property owners on Terlingua Ranch sincerely regret having to post "DON’T" signs, however, with ever increasing traffic it has become necessary. We really do hope that each person who visits or lives on Terlingua Ranch enjoys themselves to the utmost, while adhering to the above-cited guidelines.
