We have nesting Lucifer Hummingbirds, Gray Vireos, and Elf Owls, besides many other desert species.  During peak migration it’s not unusual to see over 60 species daily. This is the place for serious birders and bird photographers.

There is a private birding oasis only 6 miles from the lodge area. This oasis provides food and water for birds and wildlife year-round. There is no hiking involved to get to this bird sanctuary.  Our staff will be happy to arrange a visit for our guests.
